About this project

The MiiMi Aboriginal Corporation (MiiMi) requested that we support the Mujaay Ganma Foundation (Mujaay Ganma ) in creating artistic promotional material to increase awareness of the culturally nurturing services they provide to people and their families who are dealing with cancer.

Mujaay Ganma asked MiiMi to support them in developing promotional materials to enable community members throughout Gumbaynggir country to access the organisation when they need their services.

How we helped

The ABF provided a donation of $4,980. These funds allowed Mujaay Ganma to produce a painting by a local indigenous artist and use it for digital poster/paintings for the local Bowraville hospital and indigenous settings to explain and illustrate what trauma does and how the foundation can assist in the process.

The painting was also used as a promotional graphic on the Mujaay Ganma website, and was also printed onto T-shirts.
